In just under a week’s time—on Thursday, May 3rd and Friday, May 4th (with Friday May 11th being a make-up date)—the Baseball Club will be hosting our very first Invitational High School Tournament in Aurora, ON (Fields).

In just under three weeks, the Baseball Club will be hosting our spring tryout before picking things back up in mid-August summer.
We highly recommend that all players interested in playing for the team during the 2012 fall season—both new and returning—come out to Lambert Wilson Park on the morning of Sunday May 13th from 9am–1pm in order to show us your stuff. Those players in attendance will have demonstrated a commitment to working out with the team come training camp, which will go a long way toward securing coaches’ attention …

The Baseball Club will be hosting our second recruitment tabling of the year in Vari Link (between Vari Hall and Central Square) on Keele Campus next Thursday, from 10:00am–2:00pm. Just like the last time, we are looking for new players for next year’s fall 2012 season to fill the holes left by students who are graduating and, sadly, leaving the team.
If you play competitive baseball and have a minimum course load of 9 credits per term (i.e., you are a “full-time” student), then you are eligible to play and we’d love …

This Sunday, May 1st from 9:30am – 12:00pm, the baseball club will be hosting a casual workout. The objective: just to get a look and get some early season work in. Both new and returning players are invited to come out.
Additionally, next Sunday, May 8th from 9:30am – 1:30pm, we will be holding an open tryout. Please note: athletes who perform well will be invited to tryouts in August.
For both dates, show up by 9:00am for registration and self-directed workouts. Official activities begin at 9:30am.

The Baseball Club may have open tryouts on Sunday 1 May 2011 and Sunday 8 May 2011 from 9:00am – 1:30pm in Aurora. More details to follow.
We will do our best to confirm tryout dates at least two weeks beforehand. If you are interested in coming out, please make sure that you fill out a new player application and print out the downloadable application form from the resources page.
