2012 Recruitment Tabling #2

The Baseball Club will be hosting our second recruitment tabling of the year in Vari Link (between Vari Hall and Central Square) on Keele Campus next Thursday, from 10:00am–2:00pm. Just like the last time, we are looking for new players to fill the holes left by students who are graduating—and, sadly, leaving the team.
If you play competitive baseball and have a minimum course load of 9 credits per term (i.e., you are a “full-time” student), then you are eligible to play and we’d love to have you out for our spring …

It’s that time of year again… The Baseball Club will be in Central Square on Keele Campus next Tuesday—hosting the first of several tablings this term—from 10:00am–2:00pm.
In particular, we are looking to restock the team with new blood, as there is a continual revolving door of students every year leaving the team. Singh’s big day not enough, York University Lions baseball club ends season being blown out 12-4 by St. Clair College Saints

York University Lions fell 12-4 to St. Clair College Saints in a one-game playoff for 4th place in the division at Kinsmen Stadium on Friday.
Karanjeet Singh led York University Lions’ offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game, including a single in the fifth inning.

York Lions Sweep Windsor Lancers in Must-Win Season-Ending Series

The Lions needed to win their final two games of the season in order to force a one-game playoff with the St. Clair College Saints and see who would face the Durham Lords in the semi-final round of the division playoffs.

York University Lions outmuscled by Durham College Lords, 12-0

York University Lions fell 12-0 to Durham College Lords at Kinsmen Stadium on Tuesday.
Robert Micieli had a sound game at the plate for York University Lions. Micieli went 1-2, singling in the second inning.
Durham College Lords was paced by the production of T Mitchell, who reached base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. Mitchell tripled in the second inning.
